This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and protect personal information when you use imaginemybaby.com and the ImagineMyBaby iOS app (together, the "Service").
The website and the iOS app do not handle data in the same way. The app has no accounts and no advertising, and it uses a different set of processors. Where they differ, the ImagineMyBaby iOS App section below governs the app and takes precedence over the general sections.

The ImagineMyBaby iOS App
This section describes the ImagineMyBaby app for iPhone. It reflects the App Privacy information shown on our App Store listing. Where this section differs from the general sections below, this section governs the app.
No account, no name, no email
The app has no sign-up and no login. We never ask for your name, email address, phone number, or date of birth. To keep your orders and purchases connected across sessions, the app creates a random anonymous identifier (a "token") the first time you use it and stores it in your device's Keychain. The token is a string of random characters; it is not tied to your identity and we cannot use it to learn who you are.
Photos you upload
When you create a portrait, the app sends the ultrasound image you select — and, for family portraits, the parent photos you select — to our backend over an encrypted (HTTPS) connection. We use these images only to generate your portraits. The app reads only the specific images you choose; it does not access your wider photo library.
Who processes your app data
- UploadThing — cloud storage for your uploaded images and the generated portraits.
- Google (Gemini image model) — generates the portraits from your images, processing them on our behalf.
- PostHog — product analytics: which screens are viewed and which steps of the flow are completed, plus standard analytics data such as app version, device type, and approximate location derived from your IP address. Events are tied only to the random token above.
- Sentry — crash and error reports containing diagnostic information about the failure and your device. The app does not attach your token or any personal identity to them.
- Apple — processes in-app purchases. We receive purchase confirmations, never your payment details.
We do not sell your photos, use them for advertising, or use them to train our own models.
No advertising, no tracking
The app shows no ads. We do not use the Advertising Identifier (IDFA), we do not track you across other companies' apps or websites, and we do not share app data with advertising or attribution partners. The "Advertising and attribution partners" recipient category listed under How We Share Information applies to the website only, never to the app.
How long we keep your app data
We want to be honest here: we do not automatically delete the photos you upload in the app or the portraits generated from them. They remain stored on our systems so that you can revisit your portraits and so that we can support you. There is currently no automatic expiry, and the general retention period described under Data Retention below does not apply to app-generated content.
You can ask us to delete your data at any time by emailing [email protected], or by using the delete option on a pack inside the app. Because there is no account, please include the order reference shown in the app so we can locate the right data.

AI Processing Notice
